Cordoba - Medinat Al-Zahra - Seville
After breakfast, a visit to Medinat Al-Zahra, the 10th-century Umayyad palace-city at the peak of Islamic civilisation in Spain. The route continues to Seville: the Royal Alcazar (built by Muslim craftsmen in Mudejar style), the Giralda Tower (the former minaret, where the adhan was called five times daily), the Muslim quarters, and Plaza España.
