Tirana - Ohrid
Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Ohrid on the eastern shore of Lake Ohrid, North Macedonia. Half-day sightseeing tour of Ohrid, a centre of early Christianity for the Slavs. Walk through the Lower Gate to the Archaeological Museum in the Robev Family House, then visit the 11th-century cathedral of St. Sofia, the 2nd-century BC Ancient Theatre, and the icons at the church of St. Mary Perivleptos. Enjoy views over Lake Ohrid from the medieval walls of Samuil Fortress, then descend to Plaosnik, the church of St. Pantelejmon, and St. Jovan Kaneo, one of Ohrid's landmarks. Catamaran excursion on Lake Ohrid from the fishermen's settlement of Kaneo. Overnight in a Standard room at a 4* hotel, Ohrid, or similar.
