Sarajevo - Arrival
Your private driver meets you at the airport for a gentle introductory walk through the city: Baščaršija, the Ottoman bazaar quarter of cobbled lanes and copper workshops that has traded continuously since the 15th century; the Sebilj Fountain at its heart; and Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque (1531), the finest Ottoman mosque in the Balkans. The evening meal is a plate of local Ćevapi, grilled minced meat in flatbread with cream cheese.
Travnik & Jajce - Full Day
An early start heads northwest to Travnik, Travnik Fortress on the ridge above the old town, and Plava Voda (Blue Water), a spring-fed stream lined with old mills and gardens. The route continues to Jajce, where the Jajce Waterfall drops directly into the town and the Pliva Lakes, two connected lakes fringed with wooden watermills at Mlinčići, create one of Bosnia's most distinctive landscapes. Return to Sarajevo in the evening.
